Your role

Do you want to design and build next generation business applications using the latest technologies? Do you have a knack for problem solving, a tendency to investigate, understand issues, clarify with stake holders and design solutions? Are you able to multi-task and manage multiple parallel demands efficiently? Do you like to be challenged and encouraged to learn and grow professionally? The role includes:

  • Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
  • Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
  • Hands on development with experience of working with a global development team
  • Strong delivery and implementation track record
  • Partnering with multiple teams in global locations

Your team

The GALM Secured Funding IT team is part of the Investment Bank IT function. The team is responsible for a broad range of applications across Repo Trading, Inventory, Collateral Optimisation and Transfer Pricing. Our role is to develop IT applications to meet the immediate and future needs of the GALM business.

Your expertise

You have:
  • Excellent hands-on experience working on Java, Selenium, Fitnesse
  • Familiarization and experience of working with cloud technology preferably Azure, Azure SQL
  • Hands on with automated and manual testing conducted in Database, ETL, Cloud based tools
  • Familiarity with development and test management tools
  • Good working knowledge of CI/CD build pipelines preferably using Gitlab
  • Good understanding of fundamental test process, quality assurance, defect Lifecycle, SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to perform In-Sprint automation testing and build a regression test suite
  • Expert knowledge in test management in agile technologies and tools
  • Good collaboration skills and can make a perfect team fit
  • Able to think strategically and work in an offshore project team
