Wells Fargo India enables global talent capabilities for Wells Fargo Bank NA., by supporting business lines and staff functions across Technology, Business Services, Risk Services and Product, Analytics and Modeling (PAM). We are operating in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai locations.


Department Overview


Capital Markets Technology portfolio consists of Technology solutions for Primary Markets /Investment Banking/GIB Municipal Products/Asset Backed Finance, various Secondary Markets Trading verticals (like Equities, Fixed Income, and Commodities etc.) and Institutional Investor Services (like Prime Brokerage, Futures Commission Merchant Services). Technology group is also organized as cross product horizontals (including Electronic Trading Services, Risk & Compliance Services, and Funding, collateral and liquidity management and Operations technology).

About the Role


We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong background in Computer Science, OOPS concepts, design patterns and principles. Candidate will be expected to perform SDLC tasks such as design, development, test, documentation and application support post GO LIVE. Candidate is also expected to collaborate with other team members / partners and should be comfortable in working on multiple deliverables. Strong technical skills are required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product owners and Business stakeholders to continually refine software test requirement.
  • Write robust automated tests for high availability and highly scalable applications.
  • Build / maintain high-quality software to support Capital Market Rates business requirements following best SDLC practices (e.g. code quality, unit test code-coverage, testing automation).
  • Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required skills
  • 6+ years of exposure to SDLC using C# / .Net.
  • Experience working on UI Automation using Ranorex or similar tools.
  • Demonstrate understanding of C# / .NET features (e.g. Events and Delegates, Lambda expression, Generics, Collections, Anonymous calls).
  • Exposure to writing Unit Test/TDD using mocking frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills.
  • Motivated to learn and enhance the platform.
