Elevate is recruiting an experienced Software Tester with proven experience in testing tightly integrated distributed applications in an agile environment to help us support our customer. You will be supporting a visionary law firm to help deliver a range of process and technology initiatives including industry leading software K2, UiPath, and Case Management implementations. This opportunity would be very well suited to a Software Tester that wants to get in early on the change journey, has a passion for process improvement, and automation and wants to make a lasting impact to the daily work lives of national legal team. This role is part of the Projects & Development team, supported by the IT department, reporting directly to the Claims Solutions & Operations Manager.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We need a professional with:

  • Proven experience with web-based software application testing/QA
  • Experience in Test Automation
  • Demonstrated testing experience within Agile teams and the ability to work to tight timeframes.
  • High level of spoken and written English
  • Ability to work within an agile development methodology to tight deadlines.
  • High performing individual – strong work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to regulary communicate with global teams
  • Ablility to gauge customer needs even if not expressly stated
  • Practical and simple problem solving approach

Specifically, this role will:

  • Provide high quality test skills and expertise as part of a highly professional team
  • Plan and prepare relevant testing documentation (e.g. Test plans, test scripts, etc.)
  • Raise bugs/issues using JIRA
  • Review/update requirements and user stories and provide associated test estimates
  • Attend and contribute to Agile events (daily stand-up, etc.)
  • Facilitate/Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Project Manager or Senior BA

Essential experience and skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a tester
  • Proven experience in working within a small team would be highly regarded

Technical skills:

  • Experience with BDD/TDD is desirable
  • Experience with UiPath and K2 solutions or other similar automation tools highly desirable

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required
