InterRoles and Responsibilities :


Purpose of the position :

  • To ensure that the O365 services delivered as part of the O365 and Global Workplace Services organization meet the need of the business
  • To design, build, optimize and maintain the service in a cost-efficient manner globally (Technical Senior O365 expertise)
  • To implement best practices and provide expertise following technical specifications and architecture design
  • To provide and lead governance initiatives around O365 Cloud Services, including usage of applications, resources, security assessments, etc.
  • To participate in service development and the introduction of new products, services, or features part of O365
  • Responsibility for Operational Excellence regarding Office 365 Cloud services at Level 3

Principle Responsibilities :

  • Support, configure, develop, maintain and monitor O365 Services
  • Enforce the creation of technical concept documents, SOPs, and best practices for using O365 different line of products with a focus on technical administration of MS Teams, SharePoint Online, ODFB, and Power Platform with a focus on support teams and business stakeholders
  • Bring to service other O365 products and help make them sustainable (e.g., Yammer, Teams Apps, etc.)
  • Support L2 and L3 teams with all O365 related issues on governance and technical matters Analyze and assess business requirements and solutions in the context of O365, keeping in mind security as a fundamental part of the solution
  • Document process flows of specified activities.
  • Monitor O365 alerts and service health
  • Handle change management around Microsoft updates to the Office 365 environment.
  • Provide best practices on how to use O365 products and services and establishing methods for reminding users of best practices
  • Provide services and third-level support in line with service level agreements
  • Work with Evergreen activities, plan, communicate and perform the necessary steps to take a new feature or product into a sustainable service offering
  • Support third party products that are part of the O365 ecosystem
  • Acts as a Technical authority on topics related to O365 Collaboration services

Required key skills (functional/technical):

Technical :

Experience with SharePoint Online and ODFB in terms of administering and govern the platform

Experience with MS Teams as a Teams Collaboration Administrator

Experience on PowerShell applicable to O365 products

Experience with the Power Platform as an Administrator

Experience Azure Active Directory especially in the context of O365

Experience with Dynamics 365 Basic Administration

Experience with managing and administering O365 Tenants for large organizations as a level 3 resource

Functional:

Knowledge and understanding of ITIL processes, Service Management and Service Delivery

Technical analysis, designing, reviews, testing, and implementation of security controls for O365

Creation of technical documentation, end-user documentation, concepts papers, and technical presentations

Confidence to work with and present to business communities

Well versed with the usage of templates, standards, and methodologies

Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team

Ability to provide governance around services

Resourceful, curious and take the initiative to drive the development and improvement of the in-scope services


Required qualifications/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with major course work in computer science, information management systems, or business administration and 6 years+ of experience providing IT application support and administration, including experience leading IT projects
  • 3+ years’ experience with the operation and maintenance of O365 Tenants, including roles as L3 Global administrator or O365 architect
  • Good English skills, both verbally and written
