Honeywell EDI team is commissioned ensure that customers of Honeywell experience world class interactions with world class systems/processes. The team leverages the base SAP ERP system deployed through the Common Process/System (CP/S) group and extends applications/processes that can be directly leveraged by our customers.
So, what will you actually be doing?
As part of the Global EDI team you will support systems/processes which will facilitate growth, meet customer needs, reduce customer response, and cycle times, and run low cost processes at error-free rates. Our mission is to introduce best in industry practices and state of the art functional excellence in Order Management, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Projects, and Service. You will work closely with the Honeywell DCx Commerce team members configure, test, and deploy the EDI processes to customers. These processes will be bounded by the CP/S SAP rule sets and help drive global processes and solutions across our related businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Interacting with the various SBG stakeholders to deliver appropriate EDI functionality from the global template to the required customers. Engage with end customers as needed to review/confirm requirements and deployment details.
  • Expertise in EDI platforms IBM B2Bi, and 3rd Party tools.
  • Knowledge on BPM process and tools
  • Teaming to ensure touch point areas between SAP ERP and Sterling B2Bi are managed efficiently to deliver customer interfaces on time.
  • Completing key deliverables as assigned such as functional site scoping documentation, Gap Analysis, Enhancement Functional Specifications, and others as outlined in the CP/S deployment methodology
  • Own the end to end customer onboarding from requirements gathering, mapping, end to end testing and production go live.
  • Responsible for the knowledge transfer of deployment configuration and enhancements to other team members
  • Own and deliver EDI integrations On enhancements for any gaps or missing functionality.
  • Work with the Customer for requirements/spec reviews, testing and production migrations.
  • Empowered to make decisions driving to the best business process to keep projects moving forward within the Global Template.
  • The scope of Customer EDI interaction process includes: Quotations, Pricing, Contracts and Schedule. Agreements, Sales Order processing (Project, Product, and Service related), Delivery/ASN, Order Acknowledgements, Invoices, & Master Data

YOU MUST HAVE

  • EDI Standards (x12, EDIFACT, etc) experience 5+ years
  • SAP EDI knowledge 3+years
  • SAP/ERP OM knowledge 3+years
  • Bachelor degree

WE VALUE

  • Track-record of successful SAP EDI customers implementations covering OM transactions
  • SAP EDI implementation experiences; either as a team member or consultant. This should equate to a minimum of 3-9 years of SAP EDI experience.
  • Experience with specifications, development and testing of EDI mapping work for OM
  • Strong IBM B2Bi mapping and Basic BPM development
  • Understanding core transactions that are part of the EDI footprint: inbound orders; outbound order acknowledgement, ASN, and invoice
  • Understanding Business/Branding requirements in relation to establishment of SAP org structure and impact on customer/enveloping setup.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
