Role Summary
Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
Key Responsibilities
  • To carry out product support and maintenance
  • To carry out detailed design, code, unit test
  • To report on progress, planning issues, and problems
  • To communicate freely with other project members to ensure an efficient and successful project.
  • To liaise with Product Architect/Design Authority regarding the product functionality & design
  • To review the work of peers & the Product Architect/Design Authority
Job Requirements
  • Must have strong C and C++ programming skills on Linux/Unix developing multi-threaded applications.
  • 6+ years of experience developing highly-available, carrier-class network solutions
  • Hands-on experience with distributed and scalable telecom solutions and platforms ( Cloud / NFV)
  • Preferred experience with IMS architectures and applications – VoLTE / IMS / SIP / VoIP / UCC
  • Expert in one or more VoIP protocols - HTTP, SIP, MSRP, and Diameter
  • Experience in transport security protocols (SSL, IPsec) is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of IP-based protocols – TPC/IP, UDP, DNS
