Skill Sets
  • 20+ years of strong business intelligence background (ideally within the SAP offerings) in IT preferably in multinational companies.
  • Experience in process reengineering, designing and implementing Analytics Architecture and data modelling
  • Strong technical skills background to enable clear direction and effective evaluation of Application Development projects (e.g. SAP Analytics, Qlik Sense or similar tools)
  • Functional knowledge of BW, Fiori, Analysis for Office, HANA Studio, understanding Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), delivering functionality on time, on budget, and management of an Business Intelligence Architecture strategy and road map
  • Proven experience in managing onsite and off-shore teams and delivery models.
  • Experience in establishing and growing practices teams from small size to a large team
  • Experience setting up right processes to govern programs
  • Strong experience managing delivery P & L
  • An extraordinary leader and astute business person with exceptional business insight and outstanding judgement
  • Strong passion for technology and for developing people and teams.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, various platforms, tools and products and their respective applications.
  • Awareness of global industry trends and directions and its impact on IT services
  • Experience handling global customers directly and ability to connect with senior stakeholders at global customers
  • Onsite experience (preferrable US/Europe) is desirable.
  • Leadership of the Analytical Application Development team, growing and motivating the team, setting direction and pace, and establishing standards and principles for delivery and engagement
  • Leading the design and implementation of an Analytical Application Development strategy and roadmap that improves the level of analytics capability
  • Leverage industry specific knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations
  • Contribute thought leadership to the development and evolution of our SAP Analytics methodologies and intellectual capital including publishing articles, whitepapers, or performing research in support of Analytics initiative
  • Successfully conceptualize, develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions in a high performing environment.
  • Analyze big data (structured and unstructured) and understand trends to provide actionable insights that impact business bottom line across the range of analytics initiatives- Customer Segmentation, customer Lifecycle management, attrition / Cross-Sell / Upsell Propensity Models, Customer Lifetime Value, Pricing Analytics
  • Lead the selection and deployment of appropriate tools for application delivery alongside our current strategic tools of SAP Analytics Cloud and Qlik Sense
  • Implement best in class development practises to deliver flexible and versatile solutions
  • Independently manage project teams for complete end to end engagements, following leading practices and coordinating resources
  • Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal development
  • Responsible for developing and managing the overall service delivery from offshore.
  • Manage and lead multiple complex projects and guide senior stakeholders towards optimal solutions
  • Responsible for relationship building with customer project managers and senior stakeholders. Responsible for customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for leading and mentoring a large team of resources with varied technical and functional skill. Maintain level of team motivation and employee satisfaction.
  • Map and develop required skills and competencies within the organization
  • Establish and foster relationships with clients and internal stakeholders along with providing thought leadership and strategic guidance
  • Drive Service Level management and mitigate delivery risks. Create and review risk and mitigation strategy regularly. Communicate proactively with leadership to flag risks and ask for assistance if necessary.
  • Manage P&L effectively for the portfolio. Apply financial levers like utilization pyramid correction contract shifts and differentiated pricing models to improve the cost of delivery continuously and improve engagement level profitability.
  • Coach leads within team on leadership abilities. Groom leaders to take on higher level roles upskill themselves and manage projects/engagements effectively and independently.
  • Prepare and present business reviews with leadership
