Role Description:

Technical Expert:

• Hardware: Conversant with, and responsible for: commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of Servers, Developer Workstations, Laptops, Printers, routers, wireless equipment, Backup and data storage devices and other computer hardware.
• Operating System: Conversant with and responsible for: Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting on Windows Server (Hyper-V environment) and Desktop OS.
• Networking: Conversant with and responsible for: configuration, installation and maintenance of LAN and internet connectivity via phone lines, cable and other means
• Security: Conversant with and responsible for: installation, configuration and maintenance of corporate firewalls, user access / rights for asset usage, network monitoring and anti-virus software.
• Software: Responsible for installation and maintenance of SQL Server, IIS, Share Point Server, MS Exchange Server (internal and external), Virtual Servers, Office applications etc. Will be responsible for maintaining inventory of all the computer software assets.
• Office systems: Responsible for functioning of Attendance monitoring and office security applications, EPABX, Conferencing facilities, Projectors and other such systems.
• Training: Implement internal and user training as required.
• Post-implementation activities: Own troubleshooting, follow-up activities to enable daily success
• Technical documentation: Provide technical documentation covering all aspects of IT infrastructure - ensure accuracy, completeness and timely updates so that documents reflect reality.

Process Expert:

• Adherence to all Company and AceMicromatic Group IT policies
• Provide timely input for, and participate in, weekly team meetings
• Prepare IT usage metrics as per schedule and formats (or drive new formats as needed)
• Mature IT policy and introduce best practices

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Overall 7 years, with 5 years of experience in MS Windows Server administration, with expertise in Windows 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019

2. Good Knowledge of Active Directory server, FSMO Roles, User creation, deletion, Group Policy, troubleshooting, and configuration.

3. Good Knowledge of Active Directory Backup, repair, and restore concepts.

4. Good Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V server configuration, troubleshooting, and cluster configuration.

5. Good Knowledge of Physical host Backup, VM Backup.

6. Good Knowledge of IIS 8.5 / 10

7. Good Knowledge of Globally signed, self-signed certificate creation, request generation, installation, and replacement.

8. Expertise in EXCHANGE Server 2019 / O365 / HYBRID, mailbox creation, mail flow issue troubleshooting, logs analysis, disable and deletion of mailboxes

9. Good Knowledge of Server Hardware Troubleshooting & Configuration.

10. Good Knowledge of Storage, RAID Concepts, VOLUME & LUN Creation, etc.

11. L3-level knowledge on Client OS like Windows 10, 8.1.

12. L3-level knowledge of laptop & desktop hardware and software troubleshooting.

13. Knowledge of the Microsoft licensing model is an added advantage.

14. Good Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other Microsoft cloud application administration portals.

15. Procurement skills Ability to compare technical specifications and pricing and recommend hardware/software

16.Deep understanding of implementation and after-care processes.
