Job Description

  • Receivables Management Bucket inventory management Intensity/coverage on accounts to be maximized Maximize recoveries vide settlements / repossessions etc Cost monitoring Allocation distribution between HDB /agencies /Inhouse Monitoring dedupe NPAs C18/MD-KOs monitoring Manage and deliver portfolio indicators on assigned targets on crucial portfolio indicators including flow rates, 30 plus/ 90 plus delinquency , Fee collection annualised Net Credit loss.
  • Ensure optimum collection efficiency Delinquent Portfolio Management and deliver on assigned Digital initiatives and targets .
  • Analyzing the existing strategies and bringing in new strategies, if required.
  • Formulating strategies for traction and control on the portfolio in line with budgeted plans Administer and delivery recovery rates for the region/ zone as a percentage of the portfolio as per the target assigned Review and strategize allocation plan for the Region to ensure optimum efficiencies with minimized cost.
  • To set/ monitor productivity bench marks for regional/ Zonal team in lines with the Units objective.
  • Ensure that Hub and spokes strategy are managed to ensure separate focus on Hub and spokes locations.
  • Ensuring a logical mix of tele-calling and field efforts to ensure efficient cost utilisation Manage cost (ADFC/vendor) and ensure close tracking of Dedupe NPA accounts, both for affected & affecting accounts through account wise and customer level tracking Effective utilisation of available resources through efficient allocation plan so that the available resources are leveraged to the max possible extent.
  • Collection Efficiency has to be tracked, monitored and improved consistently over the Baseline targets published on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure the work flow is planned and all the necessary interventions are actioned to achieve the Baseline in order to improve Collection Efficiency.
  • Identify opportunity to increase contribution of payment collection through digital mediums.
  • Educate customers and encourage them to use digital medium for remitting payments.
  • Track, closely monitor and drive the teams to increase contribution of digital payments.
  • People Management Ensure optimum staff to portfolio ratio (in line with approved ACRs and manpower budgets) Tracking and analyzing productivity of the team members.
  • Giving motivation to the team and ensuring high morale.
  • Ensure sufficient training for all team members.
  • Develop and grow human capital in line with business ambitions and growth plans.
  • Recognize and channelize talent within the team to groom, facilitate the team members to handle higher responsibilities through Job rotation etc Ensure ongoing hiring, job sizing, training & career growth opportunities for the people in the unit with HR & Functional Head support.
  • Creating awareness and seriousness within the team on the laid down policies of the Bank towards Compliance and Integrity Define job roles and KRAs for team member basis their core competencies.
  • Assign clear accountability for individuals after identifying core competencies and assign job roles to achieve high productivity and morale in the team Process Management Banks processes to be adhered to in totality in unit performance Uploading of trails on web collections Manage escalations and ensure resolution of all cases.
  • Training programs to be done monthly and all employees to be covered for minimum man hours every quarter Agency management as per banks processes Ensuring all regulatory requirements are adhered to Ensuring that the allocation plan is in sync with the required objectives and all the available resources are utilised to the max capacity (Allocation Automation; HDB penetration; Vendor rationalisation etc.
  • ) Ensuring strict control on all the regulatory requirements related to hygiene and maintaining them to the best standards viz.
  • Trail Upload & monitoring, Call recording, Focus on customer escalations, DRA certification, Delay in depositions, Settlement Process, HHT usage Ensuring the team delivers on the expected coverage and intensity benchmarks Monitor & review the repossession process followed by the vendor and collection manager against the guidelines specified.
  • Ensure that the escalations arising out of repossession / sale of repossessed vehicles are handled appropriately within the stipulated TAT.
  • Ensure compliance from the vendors on laid down processes and initiation of action for exceptions as per the Agency Malpractice Matrix DRA training To Ensure & Monitor Training and maintain Certification as per benchmarks.
  • Building Strong & Dependable Vendors to effectively manage our Portfolio from a Volume & Demographic growth Perspective.
  • Agency empanelment to be judiciously done post all market checks/feedbacks ARTS/hygiene items to closed within TAT CRMs to be closed within TAT and ensuring resolution of complaint Audit reports to be reviewed and corrective actions implemented to ensure exceptions reported are not repeated in future.
  • Sourcing update to Policy Highlighting / escalating concerns in performing portfolio segments Feedback on new trends that will materially affect the products in the market.
  • Close Monitoring of Portfolio Trends from various perspectives of the Live Portfolio and highlighting the same Tracking of Policy Changes made Identification of Early delinquent accounts /Bad Capture & actively working on the same Timely & Structured discussions with stakeholders on Areas of Improvement & Areas where we can boost business.
  • Regular portfolio feedback to be given to stakeholders Regular feedback on negative areas/profiles Non starters to be monitored and highlighted Legal Identification of legal requirements across regional teams and addressing them appropriately.
  • Monitoring of cases filed for and against the bank and reviewing them regularly Support in empanelment of legal counsel.
  • Timely referral of the Eligible Portfolio Initiate Action on Early Warning Signals.
  • Working in close co-ordination with our Legal Counterparts for maximum outputs Using the correct legal recourse for swift recovery.
  • Identification of legal requirements across regional teams and addressing them appropriately.
  • Monitoring of cases filed for and against the bank and reviewing them regularly Digital Payments Penetration Digital payments to be maximized Customers to be educated to make digital payments ECMS to be highlighted to customers for ease of payment updation Central Activities Budget and P &L; closures with Finance/Sales/Policy team Cost monitoring Cost to Money Collected.

  • Audit: Interacting with internal auditors for ensuring 100% compliance and highlighting the critical exceptions to the team for avoiding such mistakes in future.
  • Central Process Team: Close interaction for necessary MIS for understanding the performance level for consistent improvement, Clarification and interpretation on processes.
