We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in the IT industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence.

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Ahmedabad. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, negotiating and closing deals, and maintaining customer relationships. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy and managing a sales team.

Key Points:

  • Must have a basic knowledge of current trends in programming languages, technologies, etc…
  • Should have English communication skills (Speaking & Drafting Emails)
  • Should have acquired the business of $10k+ per month off-shores
  • Must be aware of the bidding/tendering procedure in Freelancer & Upwork
  • Should be able to prepare Statement of Work for clients
  • Should have experience in Web Development Services

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base in the different segments.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to maximize sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to effectively meet client needs and enhance service offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes to identify potential opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of STP Web Hosting’s products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent STP Web Hosting at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets established by the Managing Director and execute business development, offering positioning and sales strategies as a member of the sales team.
  • Must have proven experience in Managing the Business Development Team. This will include evaluating their ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with upper management. We will also confirm the reporting structure, and understanding to whom they will be reporting.
  • Must have experience in IT US sales and marketing.
  • Manage business development activities including, but not limited to, representing the company in client meetings and conferences, and fostering the development of long-term relationships with new and sustained clients, as well as partner companies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with lead generation and prospecting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the web hosting industry and market trends
  • Experience with CRM software and sales reporting
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration will be an edge
  • Experience with inbound marketing and digital marketing is a plus
