The Educational Counselor plays a vital role in providing guidance and support to students at [Name of Educational Institution]. Responsibilities:

Academic Guidance: Assist students in identifying their academic strengths, weaknesses, and interests.
Help students in selecting appropriate courses, majors, or educational programs based on their goals and aspirations.
Provide information on educational pathways and opportunities for further studies.

Career Counseling: Conduct career assessments to assess students’ skills, interests, and values.
Offer guidance on potential career options and job market trends.
Help students develop career plans aligned with their interests and skills.

Educational Planning: Develop individualized education plans for students based on their academic goals and long-term aspirations.
Monitor and track students’ academic progress, intervening when necessary to ensure academic success.

Study Skills Development: Conduct workshops or one-on-one sessions to teach effective study techniques, time management, and organizational skills.

Conflict Resolution:Mediate and resolve conflicts between students, teachers, or parents that may affect the student’s educational experience.

Special Needs Support:Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to ensure students with special learning needs receive appropriate accommodations and support.

Parent and Teacher Collaboration:Communicate with parents and teachers to discuss student progress and address concerns related to academic performance.

Educational Workshops:Organize and conduct workshops on various topics such as study skills, career exploration, and college planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Relevant experience in educational counseling or related fields is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Empathy and understanding to support students facing various challenges.
• Knowledge of academic pathways, career options, and educational resources.
• Familiarity with standardized testing and college admissions processes.
• Ethical conduct and adherence to confidentiality principles.

Location: Junagadh, Gujarat
Salary: Depends on Experience & Skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
