Requirements:

  • B.Lib.Sc (Regular)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in library science
  • Proficiency in library management techniques and information organization
  • Ability to cater to students from classes 1 to 9
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school library, ensuring it is organized, well-stocked, and conducive to learning.
  • Assist students and teachers in locating and utilizing library resources, including books, reference materials, and digital resources.
  • Foster a love for reading and lifelong learning by promoting library programs, events, and initiatives that engage students in literary activities.
  • Instruct students in library skills, including information literacy, research methods, and citation techniques, to enhance their academic and intellectual growth.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate library resources and services into classroom instruction and support curriculum objectives.
