Reporting to:Quality Assurance & CI Manager

Criteria:

B.E/ B.Tech with MBA (Marketing) with 4+ years of experience in process industry or automobile.

Other Skill:

• Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma
• Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
• Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
• Product or industry-specific experience
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements

Objectives/Job Details

• Support Quality Management systems (ISO 9001:2015) in the plant, to profitably fulfil customer expectations.
• Customer contact in the plant for all Quality related issues. Periodic visits to customer sites. Voice of the customer in the plant.
• Participate in driving achievement of Quality assurance objectives in manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement, and implementing best practices.
• Model our Corporate Guiding Principles (MBM), maintain and grow the culture, strive for Operational excellence in product, process quality and reliability.
• Interact with all processes and cross functional teams to implement necessary quality tools in all aspects of organization such as, but not limited to PFMEA, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, Equipment PFMEA and Validation, Advanced problem solving, and 6 Sigma.
• Support and facilitate structured containment measures with the use of problem-solving methods (8D, DMAIC, 5WHY, Cause mapping…) and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Maintain proper Measurement systems and all necessary statutory and regulatory compliance in relation to applicable product standards.
• Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
• Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
• Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
• Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
• Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
• Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
• Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
• Collect and compile statistical quality data
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
• Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
• Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Monitor risk management activities
