Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Qualification: Bachelor/ Master Degree in Design and Graphics, or Relevant Course with hands on experience.

Certifications: (necessary/preferred) Certification in Graphic Tool would be preferred.

Experience: Deep knowledge and experience in graphic designing, industrial design, interior design, or an equivalent experience of a minimum 3 years as Designer

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Developing creative standards

• Meet with clients or the Project Co-Ordinator to determine the scope of a project

• Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials

• Plans concept by studying information and materials

• Produces designs by developing concepts relaying with the project’s requirement and providing work direction to co – workers

• Meet design thinking work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations

• Determine the message the design should portray

• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts

• Create designs either by hand or by using computer software packages

• Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites

• Select colours, images, text style, and layout

• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval

• Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors

• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art

• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design

• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them

Technical Skills

• Knowledge in Graphic Designing, UI/UX Designing, Brand Designing, Interiors Designing and Video Editing

• Proficiency with illustration tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk (CAD)).

• Layout and analytical skills

• Knowledge of desktop publishing tools and graphic design software

• Strong Presentation Skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

• Up to date with knowledge and skills of technology relating to the services offered
