Deloitte Application Studio – Manager – AWS Cloud Architect Deloitte Support Services India Pvt Ltd. – Hyderabad/Bengalure

The Challenge:
The AWS Cloud Architect is involved in many aspects of a customer engagement; from the collaboration with other team members and customers to determine the best solution for a particular engagement to the design, development and delivery of software products in AWS Cloud Platform. Architect owns every technical aspect of the project(s) and acts as the liaison between the customer and the development team in leading the projects, managing releases, requirements and product backlogs from the technical standpoint.

Responsibilities:
Collaborating frequently with clients to provide cloud solutions and assistance; and working with these customers to understand their requirements for cloud implementations that add the most value to their business.
Create functional design specifications, AWS reference architectures, design documents and assist with other project deliverables as needed.
Provide recommendations to clients with respect to cloud migrations and prepare technical implementation roadmaps for AWS adoption.
Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on AWS that address customers’ requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance and leverage existing investments in AWS platforms.
Learn, learn, and learn by staying up-to-date on all technical developments related to AWS and other public cloud platforms.
Deliver scalable, reliable applications faster to meet the ever-changing demands of customers.
Designing, developing, implementing, and releasing high quality custom software solutions using Scrum.
Applying the very best technical agile patterns and practices when building custom software solutions.
Working under some supervision from a Solution Architect, but will be expected to work independently on complex, non-routine tasks and projects. You may interact with end users and other technical personnel to identify and correct issues.
Maintain continuous, open, consistent professional communication with customers, peers and team members. Openly listen to others and confirm understanding to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Working closely with team members on quality-related activities.
Leading and mentoring junior developers through projects.
Reviewing and approving 3rd party and integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy.
Communicating implications of architectural decisions, issues and plans to business and IT Leadership.
Defining and validating non-functional (technical) requirements, and establishing traceability between requirements and application architecture/design.
Providing input to the development of project initiation documents including objectives, scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables, when needed.
Working closely with Performance Engineering and our Web/Infrastructure Technology teams on defining the deployment architecture.
Participating, and technically leading when needed, production troubleshooting and ’War Room’ Activities.
This role is expected to generally work in India business hours with occasional off-hours status meetings with the on-shore team

Skill sets: (Must have)

Education qualification: BE /B Tech / MCA / MSc / M. Tech.
10+ years of IT experience in application development and maintenance activities with Microsoft technology stack
1+ years of experience as an architect
Experience in architecting complex Enterprise grade solutions in cloud environments.
Experience in AWS portal & AWS components in cloud deployments.
2+ years of experience with any of 2 below AWS platform is preferable.
Design, Implement and deployment experience in 4 or more of the following: AWS technologies such as S3, EFS, EBS, Glacier
EC2, Elastik Beanstalk
SQS, SNS
RDS (MS SQL, Postgress, MySQL), Aurora
Dynamo DB,
ELB (ALB, NLB), CloudFront
DR Plan
AWS Glue,
Cognitive Services/ML,
AWS Lambda Functions
API Gateway,
AWS Cognito,
SSM, KMS,
Monitring Services (CloudWatch, Xray),

AWS IaaS Technologies such as VMs (EC2), Virtual networks (VPC, SubNet) etc.
Design, implement & deploy applications to Azure with Web UI frontends.
Design, implement & deploy application with RESTful/SOAP services interfaces with Microservice Architecture.
Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).
Firm grasp on cloud security, leveraging Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Federated AD, AD integration.
Well versed in designing and building AWS solutions that include high availability, multi-region and multi-set architectures using virtual networks, availability Zones and affinity groups.
Familiar with various application stacks such as .NET, C#, Powershell etc in a VSTS environment.
AWS Powershell deployments, experience with Powershell DSC/CLI etc.
Experience on Cloud Migration Projects from On-Prem to Cloud.
Familiarity with Office 365 and Sharepoint service offerings.
Experience as a hands-on technical practitioner/specialist in client facing roles in large enterprises and demonstrated client facing consulting skills, including building strong client relationships.
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills.
Strong team skills including the ability to lead and be a team player
