• The primary responsibility is to provide Project Technical Support during sourcing, development and production of Indian Mechatronic projects but not limited to SCR. He/she coordinates the development engineering efforts for assigned programs and ensures that the system performance meets technical requirements taking into account customers satisfaction and the profitability (limit development costs and optimize resources).
• With support of Mechatronics Department and Technical Centers, drive the Technical Offer Preparation during sourcing activities as per India OEM requests.
• Be the PO CES Business Development representative for Mechatronic projects
  

• Main Technical interface for Mechatronic Projects under sourcing, development & production for Indian OEMs and ensure that Guidelines and Best Practices are known and applied in the Projects under development.
• Increase technical know-how in SCR Activities throughout ASIA, Develop expertise through hands-on coaching and workshops. Organize and provide training.
• Share best practices with PO global networks and watch out the market evolution, technology trend and propose Benchmarking of competition.
• Organize and provide training, particularly to PO India Plants involved in Mechatronic projects.
• Animate expertise networks and best practice sharing activity between Asia Technical Centers.
• Contribute to the investigation and analysis of market and technology trends to support the SCR Business Development activities to achieve the Business Plan set by the Division
• Coordinate, Prepare, and present Technical Packages for new project sourcing activities, in line with PO CES best practices and Guidelines, and replying to Customer requirements. (evaluating the engineering feasibility of the product, helping to determine product cost, etc)
• Contribute to the PO CES Intellectual Property activities by ensuring Technical proposal to external customer or partners are protected by PO CES or not infringing third parties rights
• Assess the needs (resources, equipment,) for future Business in Asia Technical Center and make recommendations for Budgeting activities.
• Support the promotion of PO CES Mechatronic product offer via Tech Days & specialized Events throughout India.
• Promote and exemplify PO CES Global Leadership Model to all employees in support of PO CES Global Mission, Values and Objectives.
• Successfully completes all required training and complies with all work and safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• 1st–level technical support to Warranty issues, guiding customers & PO CES teams on what further actions should be. Ensure Credit Collection of parts & engineering services Sales
• With support of Mechatronics Project Manager, and under supervision from India Customer Center Manager, establish & send offers, quotes & corresponding cost breakdowns to Indian customers, for Engineering & Tooling, OE & Service parts, as well as upon Design Change Requests.
