Job Description

  • Scope of Function: Conducting PA of below functions on periodic basis and release report to senior management Clearing Cash Management System Remittances viz.
  • intra-Bank Fund transfers, NEFT, RTGS, Salary processing etc.
  • Depository WBO managed Gold Loan Desks Retail Asset managed Gold Loan Desk Retail Asset products handled by WBO Retail Asset Hubs Retail Liability Document Verification Units WBO managed Retail Assets Customer Service Desks Retail Assets Hub managed Customer Service Desks Trade Finance Operations Commodity Operations Clearing Houses managed by HDFC Bank BCP Clearing locations Currency Chest Bulk Cash Counter Retail Liability CPU Operation Retail Asset CPU Operation Trade & Gold CPU Operation Allied Retail Banking Operations Mortgages under Credit Administration Department Five S & SOX Compliances Any further product addition to Operations List of duties or tasks performed critical to success Conduct Quality audits viz.
  • 5S, SOX, Service quality, Infrastructure of each WBO location.
  • Implementation of processes and procedures.
  • Release Process Audit reports and seek Compliances.
  • Conducting Time and Motion study exercises.
  • Conducting RCSA assessment as per Basel norms, for central Operations Risk Management team.
  • Conduct Off-Site Surveillance to restrict exceptions within the Region.
  • Conduct surprise verification of Currency Chest as per RBI mandate.
  • Ensure qualitative and effective performance in all areas of Process audits.
  • Comprehensive review of Operational activities.
  • Seek improvement in existing systems and processes.
  • Active participation in Operations projects.
  • Provide feedback on upcoming processes.
  • Suggest gaps in processes, if any, and changes required to address such gaps.
  • Help in resolution of process related queries.
  • Participation in various Corporate Social Responsibility activities of the Bank.
  • All other responsibilities entrusted from time to time.
  • Drive Banks Digital Initiative every area of Operation Key functional and relational responsibilities in order of significance Handling multiple products Complexity of products Conducting Process Audit Conducting root cause analysis Error-free operations Off-Site Surveillance activities Digitalisation efforts.
  • MIS management Efficiency management People management Problem solving Decision making Upward and downward feedback.
