Job Title: Security Officer

Job Summary:

As a Security Officer at our esteemed 4-star hotel, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees. You will play a vital role in safeguarding the property, preventing incidents, and responding to emergencies. Your vigilance, professionalism, and dedication to ensuring a secure atmosphere will contribute to the overall safety and satisfaction of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security and Surveillance:

- Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, and suspicious activities.

- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, including guest corridors, public areas, parking facilities, and back-of-house areas.

- Act as a visible deterrent to potential security threats and maintain a proactive presence in public spaces.

2. Guest and Employee Safety:

- Provide a safe and secure environment for guests and employees by enforcing hotel policies and procedures.

- Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, requests for assistance, and safety concerns.

- Assist in evacuations and emergency response procedures as needed, including fire alarms or medical emergencies.

3. Incident Reporting and Documentation:

- Document all security-related incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities in detailed reports.

- Notify appropriate hotel management and law enforcement agencies when necessary.

- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incident logs.

4. Access Control:

- Control and monitor access to the hotel, including checking the identification of visitors and employees.

- Ensure that key cards and access codes are properly assigned, tracked, and deactivated as needed.

- Conduct inspections of security checkpoints and entry/exit points.

5. Safety Equipment and Systems:

- Inspect and maintain security equipment and systems, such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and radios.

- Report any malfunctions or deficiencies promptly to the Security Supervisor or management.

6. Guest and Staff Training:

- Educate hotel staff on security procedures and awareness.

- Provide guidance to guests on safety and security measures within the hotel.

- Assist in training new security personnel as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

- Knowledge of emergency response protocols and basic first aid.

- Familiarity with security systems and equipment.

- Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Must meet physical requirements, including the ability to stand, walk, and lift.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certifications in security and safety-related fields is a plus.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

Education:

• Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)

Experience:
