We are seeking a highly skilled QA Test Engineer with expertise in testing cloud native applications, microservices, and strong functional and API testing knowledge. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 10 years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on automation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for cloud native applications and microservices.
  • Conduct thorough functional and API testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Identify, isolate, and track defects throughout the testing process and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using WebDriver, Typescript, and RESTAssured.
  • Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting any issues or risks.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to testing standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to QA testing and automation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Test Engineer with a focus on testing cloud native applications and microservices.
  • Strong expertise in functional and API testing, including test planning, test case design, and test execution.
  • Solid experience in test automation using WebDriver, Typescript, and RESTAssured.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve complex software issues.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in utilizing JIRA or similar tools for test management and defect tracking.
