Job Description

• Lead development teams to deliver on-time, on-budget, high value complex projects.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and support to the development team.
• Specify and ensure the design and development of technology solutions properly fulfills all business requirements, achieves desired objectives and fulfills return on long term goals.
• Takes technical responsibility for all stages and/or iterations in a software development project, providing method specific technical advice and guidance to project stakeholders.
• Work across teams to create solutions and set the direction for technology for their area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of software development experience building and testing applications with secure coding practices including at least 2 years of experience leading development efforts
• Deep understanding of best design and software engineering practices, design principles and patterns and unit testing.
• Understanding of microservices and event driven techniques
• Proven proficiency developing in server-side Java applications using Spring Boot
• Cloud technology experience, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in SQL
• Familiarity with async messaging, queues.
• Experience in handling and managing PII/secure/sensitive data
• Demonstrable familiarity with CI/CD process
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment, with ability and willingness to adapt to various technologies and simultaneously work on multiple projects
