Role Description

The Social Services Specialist will be responsible for providing social services and support to children and families in need in Kota. This is an on-site, volunteer position that involves working closely with community members. Responsibilities include performing case management, creating individualized plans for clients, coordinating community outreach efforts, and providing services and referrals to support clients’ needs. The Social Services Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and participating in regular team meetings.

Qualifications
  • Social Work and Human Services skills
  • Experience in Case Management and Social Services
  • Community Outreach skills and experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with community members
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines
  • Experience working with children and families in need is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field is preferred
