Context/Scope:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Experience Tower is part of Global Business Operations and covers a set of planning, forecasting & analytical activities that support business decisions and help understanding of overall financial health by combining financial, operational and external data in one place. It involves supporting strategic planning, leading Annual Operating Planning (AOP), supporting landing, managing performance analysis, and generating insights on strategic market and regional level.
Tower responsibilities also include ensuring timely, accurate, standardized reporting combined with value-added analysis. Fast and sharp insights to understand what factors drive business performance with the aim to devise early warning signals to better anticipate risks and help identify growth opportunities, support quick & accurate decision making and act as excellent business partners to achieve financial goals.
Leadership Responsibilities:
The Overhead Central Team member’s main responsibility is to provide support to the Overhead Business Partner in annual planning, actual reporting and variance analysis, and to cooperate with other stakeholders in Overhead related matters, improving ways of working and adding value to the business.

Purpose of Role:
  • Takes full responsibility for the day-to-day management of Overhead related activities with adherence to the internal control procedures.
  • Supports Overhead Business Partners and other stakeholders to understand overheads and issues, ensure the financial implications of these are captured correctly in the financial and statutory statements.
  • Support through value-add analysis, understanding movements in overheads, root cause of issues/business reasons behind variances and accurate presentation of requested materials.
  • Support AOP activities.
  • Ensures that queries from stakeholders are dealt promptly and accurately
  • Ensures smooth and accurate month end closes
  • Contribute ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous improvement of Overhead processes.
  • Ensures that Overhead policies and procedures are understood and followed Supports the internal and external audits
Top Accountabilities:
  • The Overhead Central Team member is responsible for taking ownership for Overhead accounting analysis and coordination of management reporting, including:
  • Support and deliver monthly accounting/reporting/causals/analysis and actively work/collaborate with Overhead Business Partner and other stakeholders with a focus on accuracy.
  • Own and support the annual planning exercise
  • Ensures early visibility of issues and any contingencies are shared and reviewed when addressing gaps, coupled with actions defined leading to the right outcomes.
  • Act like an owner to allocated overhead activities with a focus to improve them
  • Ensures that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with the internal (CARM) and external requirements.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business
  • 5-7 years’ experience in controlling, accounting and management reporting areas
  • Solid finance knowledge with experience in cost controlling and accounting
  • Experience working within an international / multicultural environment
  • Fluent English knowledge
