Job content

Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications for Android OS.
-Experience in OO design, design patterns & fluency in Java, Kotlin programming
-Exposure to React Native or any hybrid technology would be a plus
-Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
-Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
-Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
-Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
-Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
-Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
-Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
-Experience with Unit testing frameworks & Static code analysis tools.
-Experience with publishing apps to the play store and have at least one published app on the play store.
-Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies. Ability to understand user stories.
-Experience with JIRA and version control tools like Bitbucket, Gitlab.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as active listening skills.
-Good problem solving and debugging skills.
-Should be self-driven with the desire to achieve measurable, specific results within defined time frames.
