Associate Security Analyst:

General Job Summary

1)Prioritizing and differentiating between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms
2) Monitoring and analyzing events with ELK Security Information Event Monitoring (SIEM) system
3) Work day/weekend 24/7 (9PM-9AM shift) in support of network and security operations monitoring
4) Monitor/create custom search queries and dashboards in ELK
5) Discover and analyze all classes of malicious attacks on different networks/systems
6) providing analysis from logs and utilizing tools (automated and manual methods) to provide recommendations for remediation
7) Provide Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable incident.
Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
