APM Terminals (a part of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group’s Transport and Logistics Division) is a leading global port and cargo inland services provider with a presence in 69 countries providing the world’s most geographically balanced global terminal network with 73 ports along with an inland services network spanning 140 locations. Based in The Hague, Netherlands, the company works with shipping lines, importers/exporters, governments, business leaders and the entire global supply chain to provide solutions that help nations achieve their ambitions and businesses reach their performance goals. The Global Service Centres serve the APMT business through its off shored sites with its state of the art information technology and dedicated employees. Today we have more than 200 employees working for APMT in the Global Service Centres with activities located in Pune offering FNA services. The main services provided are Transaction and Knowledge based Finance & Accounting, Human Resources Operations, IT Application Support & Knowledge based IT services.

Key responsibilities

1. TPR/OPR cycle –
a. deck continuous improvement - drive for simplicity vs. requirement for more details, focus on discussing improvement actions
b. Liaise with regional Head of Commercials to get insight on results of regional TPR discussions and focus on key messages for OPR, communicate and coordinate input for OPR
c. Participate in pre-OPR meeting to voice key discussion points for commercial
2. Create monthly commercial performance management dashboard
3. Utilizing BI tool to provide insight for requirements of global and regional commercial teams
4. Visibility on rate development – review structure of revenue and volumes related accounts in APMT CoA. Aim is to simplify to have consistency in reporting across various terminals
5. IFS 10 input on revenue and volumes – review existing set-up, make sure it is going to provide insight for requirements of global and regional commercial teams. To link with revenue and volumes CoA review
6. Support commercial team with having visibility on actual spend vs budget by sharing feedback and challenging corporate accounting team
7. Quarterly Memo writing for SMT
8. Helping CCO (chief commercial officer) with the months performance by preparing PRE-OPR and eVMS

Other additional areas:

9. Adhoc reports and analysis as requested by FBP
10. Prepare and publish dashboard and financial reports
11. Design financial reports for Adhoc requests
12. Reporting of Forecasting and budget numbers
13. Controlling of financials
14. Scorecard
15. Revenue/volume analysis
16. Commercial dashboard preparation
17. ROFO and 5 year plan controlling

We are looking for

a) Excellent knowledge in Finance domain – in financial reporting and preparing dashboards and Financial analysis
b) Candidate must be excellent in Excel & also in presentation skills
c) Result-driven and an individual contributor. Excellent multi-tasking abilities.
d) Structured and has a high attention to quality
e) Ability to handle high pressure during stringent deadlines
f) Meets required goals and deadlines in a timely and accurate manner independently
g) Effective and timely communication with stake holders involved
h) Ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders
i) Identify and prioritize task effectively
