Title: Buyer - External Engineering

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Act as an regional independent buyer for India handling approx. spend of 5 to 6 M$ per annum.
• Hands-on experience handling External Engineering outsourcing category and knowledge on different business models of outsourcing activities
• Strategic negotiation handling complex business cases
• Single point of contact with suppliers and key stake holders/finance etc
• Responsible to meet price savings target set annually
• Making sure to handle competitive bidding process to ensure commercial and technical stability and savings.
• Knowledge in working commercial and technical competitive quote comparison
• Knowledge in handling & negotiating contract negotiation/NDA/Statement of work and other commercial and legal agreements.
• Validate the RFQ’s submitted in VIPER - Updating the Description, Category, Tax Structure, Quote Analysis… etc
• Supplier Awards for the Pre-approved PR’s - Updating the finalized price, Supplier, Quote and IATF Checklist etc.
• Participating in the Regional PR review meetings and giving the rationale on the finalized price to the Finance and Operation approvers
• Discussion with Supplier and Visteon Internal Stakeholders regarding RFQ, PR’s, Status updations, Negotiations with suppliers, PO delivery follow ups, Tech discussions, Payment Issues Resolution etc
• Support Internal and External Audit with required documents and Audit Representation from Purchasing Function.
• PS employess Tracker udpation and Exit/Termination details to Finace and HR
• Contracts Sign off between Visteon and Suppliers (NDA’s & MSA’s.. Etc)
• Purchasing Process Induction to New Joiners
