The Position
Calderys - Assistant QPC Manager

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
  • Developing safe working environment
  • Planning and execution of Research and Developmental work
  • Timely evaluation of new Raw materials
  • Calibration of Lab equipment
  • Testing & analysis of R&D samples
  • Reduction in quality complaints of material
  • Customization of products
  • Customer / supplier visit
  • Adherence to ISO, QMS, Calderys systems
  • Coordination with Marketing / R & D / Project application / Supply Chain team
  • Training and enhancing the knowledge of subordinates
Education, Background, Level Of Experience

B.Tech/ M.Sc (Chemical Engineering / Ceramic)

Ten years of Experience in a Ceramic / Process industry, additionally any experience of handling calcium silicate boards will be preferred.

The incumbent should have -
  • Knowledge of Chemical Processes, Ceramics and Refractories,Calcium silicate board quality control & development
  • Knowledge of Autoclave, Press operations, Drying operations, etc.
  • Knowledge of various refractory testing and characterization techniques
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Knowledge of mineralogy, crystallography and phase diagrams
  • Knowledge ofrefractory property – performance correlation
  • Hands on experience in various testing and characterization methods pertaining to refractories
