The Position
Calderys - Safety Officer

Job Summary

Job Description
  • Responsible for development of EHS standards, implementation of statutory environmental policies relevant to the refractory projects sites.
  • Responsible for daily safety review and achieve Zero Accident in Project & operations phases.
  • To obtain approvals from various Government departments on aspects of environment, health and safety.
  • Incorporate EHS consideration in all functional areas.
  • Prevent adverse environment impacts and occupational health and safety risks.
  • Impact structured training for Workers / employees and stakeholder for effective EHS performance.
  • Preparing Site risk assessment and maintaining Safety related documentation.
  • Conduct regular inspections, Safety Induction training for all new employee / worker
  • Conduct Risk Assessment
  • Identify Safe & Unsafe Act & and take necessary action
  • Attending Safety Committee
  • Conducting Audits
  • Investigate & Report all incidents / accidents as per norms.
  • Prepare and submit Accident / Incident Reports.
  • Prepare and maintain Equipment, Process Equipment checklist as per norms
  • Prepare and implement EHS Policy during the Project stage
  • Organize Health Checkup, Environment Awareness campaign and camp in Project stage
  • Maintain all Government Statutory Register for verification and submission
Minimum 3 Years Experience

Education and Skills required:

Diploma/B.E or B Sc

Diploma or Post-graduation in Fire & Safety or ADIS/PDIS is a must.

Experience of Construction / Operational safety
