Please Note: This is a Location Flexible role within AMESA. The incumbent selected for the role will continue to be based out of their current location. The preferred locations are India and Lebanon.

This role is to support the external communications across the sector to position PEP in an effective manner with internal and external audiences and help drive business growth through communications to support our company objectives; manage and mitigate crisis. Also support the global comms and Business Unit (BU) teams with holistic digital comms guidance – driving and executing the sector comms strategy in a collaborative and result-driven manner.

Key accountabilities for the role include:

Responsible for creation of corporate reputation driving external and digital content for AMESA. Serving as a community manager across multiple owned corporate and executive social channels. Includes execution of social and digital channel posts, response and engagement, assisting in social media strategy and assisting with content creation

Manages social/media agency creative partner(s) in content development and drives optimization of content to improve social engagement performance. Manage creative agencies to develop social media and creative campaigns, and with the BU teams to translate communications strategy and plans into local execution.

Supports and assists in development of digital activation plans for online and offline events, and digital only activations, such as sponsorships or publishing partnerships working predominantly on corporate brand development but also across specific product brands on large scale cross-BU programs.

This individual drives the creation of templated content (video, photo, graphic, written) which BUs localize and publish. Drive social media campaigns designed to drive consumer love and engagement with brands.
This individual will also coordinate all social listening, data analysis and score carding to enable constant learning about the impact and effectiveness of communications.

The role coordinates all cross-market media efforts in case of crisis and issues management.
This person drives Senior Leadership social media channel efforts, including strategy and content.
Responsible for setting strategy, establishing editorial focus and creation of all content for AMESA. This centralizes strategy and editorial control for all priority corporate and/or brand campaigns.
This role also connects with AMESA leadership on key events and corporate communications, and with key stakeholders (Supply Chain, Finance) on sustainability communications and reporting.

Act as the connector point with Global Corporate Comms (Content, Media, PR) in Purchase to execute global strategies and programs at an AMESA level and to channel global programs from their inception capturing sector needs and specificities. Manages digital team’s project Teams site, idea documents and content calendars.
This person also partners with Internal Communication to ensure associates are informed and engaged in external programs, digital campaigns etc. The individual also works closely with the PepsiCo Foundation corporate team to report, coordinate and communicate any key programs or external initiatives as well as amplifies global news across AMESA.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of communications experience (media, social/digital) in a large BU or head office
  • Understanding of the AMESA sector, key markets, diversity and specific needs.
  • Proven ability to drive an effective and innovative comms agenda across a diverse geography with multiple stakeholders and collaborators and get results.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of all social and traditional media platforms and relevant content to inform/engage internal and external audience in a way that connects and builds reputation.
  • Solid business and operating understanding across foods and beverages.
  • Excellent people/collaborative skills - ability to set the agenda and lead in an inclusive manner – must want to make people follow him/her and deliver their best as a team.
