Retail Banking and Wealth Management serves more than 50 million customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures. It is a global business that brings together management responsibility for Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance and Asset Management with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the WPB CCS Underwriting Services team.

Principal Responsibilities

• Ensures that loan and Card applications are assessed and underwritten consistently, objectively, with uniform application of policy, procedure and guidelines, all of this within turned around within the stipulated Service Level Agreements
• Responsible to ascertain the credit worthiness of individual retail customer with complete financial and cash flow analysis for unsecured lending applications
• Maintain the SLA’s for processing applications and help in structuring loans within the banks approved policy guidelines.
• Recommend policy and product changes to the concerned stakeholders for bringing new developments in the existing guidelines.

• 5-10 years of work experience, of which at least 3 year should be in operations and/or credit.
• Good understanding of local market & retails products.
• Good verbal, written communication, interpersonal skills.

One of the below qualification are mandatory:

• FRM/PRMIA /CA/ICWA/CS/CFA/M.Com or
• MBA Finance or equivalent or
• MSC/MS Finance or equivalent or
• PGDM /PGDBM / PGDRM or equivalent or
• Certificate Examination in Certified Credit Professional - IIBF or
• Diploma Certification Course in Risk Management – NIBM

RBI Mandated Capacity Building clause
