Job Requirement :

BE Metallurgical engineering with 10-15 Years of experience in technical services either from metal industry or experience in operations maintenance from Wire, Cable, winding wires or transformer strips manufacturing companies.

Job Role :

  • The incumbent will act as a support system for customers on all technical aspects to create value for them.
  • Ideally, he would be well versed in the customer s products, processes and understand final application of product being manufactured by the customer.
  • Based on the technical sensitivity and type of product, customers are broadly categorized in 3 categories : Wire Cable manufacturing, Winding Wires manufacturing Transformer Strips
  • Should have deep understanding of the maintenance practices at customer s shop floor to guide them appropriately
  • Will work with customer s to improve their productivity by evaluating their existing practices and suggest improvements for continuous process improvement.
  • Should have knowledge and understanding of cathode / rod manufacturing process.
  • Based on feedback from customer s, he will have continuous interaction with the Plant team to improve product quality on continuous basis.
  • On broader terms, he would ideally be well versed in customer s processes and also understand the Plant operations, in effect acting as a bridge between customer s shop floor and the Plant shop floor.
  • Must be excellent communicator and influencer, as role will require extensive interaction with external internal stakeholders.
  • Should be mature enough to handle difficult conversations.
  • The role requires extensive travelling, once COVID restrictions are eased out.

  • Strong communication influencing skills
  • Excellent commancd over technical aspects of both customers and companys manufacturing process.
