This position will be responsible for supporting global Business Intelligence requirements in conjunction with Emerson Automation Solutions global instance of Oracle and other related applications. Requirements analysis and advanced coding and report writing skills are required. Investigation and communication skills required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to understand and debug functional issues in Oracle Modules of Inventory, WIP, BOM, Purchasing, Quality, Planning/ASCP, and Engineering
  • Advance knowledge of the following Oracle subject areas and Business impact:
  • IR/ISO and PO/SO, as well as the ability to link the transactions together
  • Pegging
  • Global Sourcing rules
  • BOM Explosions and Implosions
  • Supply/Demand dashboard within Oracle
  • Advance knowledge of order transaction flows and Business processes and interfaces to other modules
  • Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate functional changes to end users
  • Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle Oracle Supply Chain related modules
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries for issue analysis and report code
  • Ability to analyze, understand, trouble shoot and effectively communicate functional details to end users and management
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Solid analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Should understand all Business Intelligence concepts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures, and principles of performance analysis and code tuning
  • Takes ownership of issues and resolution at a strategic level
  • Guides others to identify issues with the quality and performance of products, services, solutions or processes and proposes improvements
  • Works independently with internal global stakeholders to identify and clarify complex business requirements in support of business reports
  • Demonstrate high level of collaboration across Global Teams
  • Should be open to work in Shifts

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8 to 12 years of experience working with Oracle DB and EBS modules
  • Excellent Good Communication Skills
  • Tech Skills :
  • Oracle SQL
  • PL/SQL
  • SQL Server Management Studio
  • SSRS Power BI
  • SSIS
  • Working experience on PREP Builder and PREP Conductor
  • Functional knowledge of Oracle E- Business Suite modules: Inventory, WIP, BOM, Purchasing, Quality, Planning/ASCP, Engineering, AR, AP, GL EAM.

B.Tech/B.E
