Senior Health, Safety, Security & Environment Executive

Work Dynamics

What this job involves:
Managing Health Safety Security Environment
Conduct Risk assessment and develop control measures through Shell NTCB specific process.
Manage the HSE related Incident and own the process.
Guide operations teams and clients on any changed HSE legislative requirements to enable them to plan for continued legal compliance.
Develop and implement process for tracking HSE regulatory compliances across managed locations.
Coordinate with Account Manager, Corporate HSE manager, ensure implementation of programs and report on the progress on a monthly basis.
Gather environmental data, conduct environmental inspections, maintain permit compliance, and report to all regulating agencies.
Ensure the Fire Fighting systems (Fire extinguishers & Fire Hydrant points) are serviced quarterly as per the requirements.
Ensure the hazardous waste is handled & stored as per client’s requirement & related hazardous waste data is maintained at site.
Ensure calibration & stamping of the weighing scales at site as per schedule.
Supervise the Operation and maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant and maintaining related documents of Pollution Control Board.
Maintaining & monitoring the permit systems and related documents.
Handling Ergonomic Health issues at the site.
Conducting safety trainings and generating awareness among the employees.
Ensure the approval for all the chemicals used or to be used at site through CAM
Ensure that the risk assessment plans are in place & maintained at site.
Ensure the Ambient & stack flue gas monitoring at site on yearly basis.
Conduct monthly HSE audits at site & ensure the follow-ups & completion of ARs.

HSE Plan implementation: Demonstrate HSE leadership in driving plan, initiatives & action with visible outcomes
’Goal Zero’- Incident prevention (No Fatalities / LSR violations. Demonstrate proactive approach on prevention of Incident, Cross-Site learning and sharing & Strong HSE Culture
Control of Sub-contract HSE & Statutory regulation compliance adherence at all times
Completion of agreed contract management actions and review/update of the site risk assessment & controls: Review and update Hazard and Effects register
Maintain the emergency response escalation matrix & ensure that employees are trained in the same.
Monthly EHS meeting with HSE team & keep track of all HSSE related reports
