Our client is a leading global reinsurance company having their analytics and operations centre in India and are looking for senior level professionals with exceptional pricing actuarial skills.

This position is an exciting opportunity to join the Groups Actuarial function in Bangalore. The focus of the role will be to identify drivers to portfolio performance of Americas by doing reserving analysis and working in close coordination with pricing teams.


Some of the key responsibilities will include :

  • Quarterly reserves analysis for the Division Americas P&C business
  • Reporting of quarterly results to senior management and the Reserve Committee
  • Yearly estimation of payment patterns for Economic Value Management
  • Preparation of accounts, tables and draft reports in respect of actuarial statutory reporting requirements.
  • Manage the production of various monitoring and control reporting.
  • Active collaboration with actuaries in Division Americas, as well as globally.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics or equivalent field
  • 8+ years of experience in the P&C actuarial domain
  • Qualified or near-qualified actuary
  • Experience in statutory reporting for P&C branch entities
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance accounting principles
  • Strong data processing and analytical skills. Prior experience in data visualization would be an advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables.
