Maersk is looking for an experienced logistics professional, with good knowledge of CFS business based out of Mumbai and reporting to Depot Product Manager for India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka (IBS) Area. Key focus of the roles is to work on designing and rolling out products for the Depot business, identify and evaluate opportunities for expansion and prepare business cases for investments, investment initiatives and expansion plans.
The incumbent will be also responsible for leading change initiatives to standardize and improve processes and controls, drive automation and reduce costs.

Key responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer and market needs to help in developing product strategy for future
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for business expansion and prepare business cases with finance teams to evaluate with same
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives
  • Partner with Area and Depot Heads to set continuous improvement priorities and objectives, monitor progress, analyze key performance indicators, and use project management methods to execute improvements.
  • Develop and implement processes to aid in measuring goals, track savings, increase productivity, standardize KPI’s
  • Create standardize and share best practices across regions to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Assist in developing and documenting procedures to be used across operations
  • Coordinate with marketing team to own and execute marketing campaigns for key initiatives

We are looking for



  • Masters degree preferred
  • Supply chain, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Six Sigma experience preferred not mandatory
  • Ability to supervise and direct work of project teams
  • Influencing stakeholders
  • Prior experience of successfully managing continuous improvement projects
  • Technical skills in power point and excel
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform well with time sensitive tasks
  • Able to build strong business relationships across all levels and effectively communicate across functions
  • Must possess strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
