Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for contracting / legal function for Defence business , supporting other business functions in legal documentation related to Customers, OEMs and Suppliers around the globe

1 Responsible for drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution of a wide variety of different complex agreements for defence product and service portfolio :

• Sales, purchase, research, license, services, cooperation, marketing, distribution agreement
• Commercial and Public (Federal, State and Local Municipalities) Contracts
• NDAs, consultancy and support agreements

2 Balance and manage contractual risks using a high degree of creativity to solve large scale, complex matters and addressing all relevant business risks

3 On all standard and nonstandard contracts, provide redlined recommendations and often negotiate directly with otherside attorneys or purchasing staff until consensus has been reached

4 Request, coordinate and validate input from internal organizations to review, formulate and draft contractual agreements that are significant for the success of our company

5 Amend, supplement and update existing agreements as required to document emerging business conditions. Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal as required.

6 Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipts, contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.

7 Monitor competitive terms. Monitor customer satisfaction with our terms and conditions and contracting practices. Recommend changes. Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance

8 Support other teams to ensure company products and services are offered with appropriate, competitive terms and conditions

9 Work with Finance to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, export controls etc.

10 Provide guidance on contract matters to other employees in contracting practices and procedures.
