responsibilities

Set editorial direction and pace for the team.
Regularly collect/ contribute stories for online ( and print distribution in future ) .
Manage any freelancers, as needed.
Manage all editorial submissions within applicable deadlines
Revise print and online articles, write headlines and captions, and review page proofs, in conjunction with the copy editor
Ensure all coverage is timely and relevant to readers
Plan the artwork, illustrations, and photos that go with each online and print story
Work closely with the art and production departments to prepare and approve page layouts that carry out the magazine visual or graphic style
Provide strong and positive leadership to the publication editorial team
Travel to various events is required.
Must be a post graduate in Odia langauge with a passion for Odia Language and Literature.
