Job Description:

Sr. Manager/ AGM - Instrumentation

Should have knowledge of DCS programming, graphics structure, trouble shooting, modification etc.
Should have knowledge of DCS controller, I/O and AI/o cards and functions.
Should have knowledge of field instrument like, RTD, Thermocouple, level sensors, vibration sensors, pressure switches, flow switches etc, also should have
Should have knowledge of all above instruments controllers.
Should have knowledge of operation and maintenance & calibration of weighing systems like Weigh feeder, SFM, Rotor Scale, weighs Bridge, Packing machine etc.
Should have knowledge of operation and maintenance of Analyzers.
Should have knowledge of High temperature cameras, shell scanner.
Should have knowledge of Electrical switch gears for operation and maintenance
Should have knowledge of Electrical machines, their working principle.
Support his/her peers in analyzing power of complete plant.
Able to monitor and co-ordinate condition predictors, for all critical equipment
Able to evaluate and improve the preventive maintenance job-plans create and update the corresponding inspection job-plans, in co-ordination with the planner.
Contributes to the analysis of failures and problems, recommending corrective actions
Prepare report on repair jobs including consumption of materials, tools, man-hours and skills, and fills equipment history files.

Competencies:

Should be good communicator, team builder, decision maker, fault finder and failure analysis.
Capable to Manages team, defines the missions and objectives, motivates his team, and facilitates communication and relationships (regular department meetings, reports to the hierarchy).
Ensures safe working procedure for overall operations and maintenance.
Ensures and controls quality of maintenance jobs from contractors.
