Job Requirements- The incumbent is expected to perform the duties Living the Unifrax Values of Safety, Ethics, People, Commitment, Customer Focus, Innovation, Continuous Improvement, Teamwork, and Speed and Agility.
- Sell Company’s products (new and existing).
- Service all customers, developing new accounts, maintaining accounts
- Promote sales of specific accounts.
- Achieve assigned sales program for Fiberfrax products in the assigned territory; operate within assigned expense
- Train new personnel.
- Sales forecasting by month and quarter; gathering competitive information.
- Territory planning (call pattern, new product/customer prospects).
- Management of distribution channels; serve on Distribution Advisory Board.
- Advise Company management of significant market information. Report new product ideas.
- Implement specific sales and marketing projects ( i.e., pilot program).
- Price authorization for specific sales territory. May serve on sales advisory council.
- Typically, a Senior Sales Engineer position is distinguished by larger sales territory, consistent leadership in new products and new market sales, and length of service.
- Uses the Adaptive Coaching process for communication, goal alignment, problem solving, and career planning.
- B.S. in an engineering discipline desired; advanced business degree also desired.
- Four years previous sales experience in industrial markets selling through distributors required.
- Prior work experience in product management or application engineering is desired. Previous management of a sales
- Thorough knowledge of Company’s products is required.
- An understanding of pricing and ordering structures; product, technical and application data; competitive products and
- Knowledge of petrochemical, aluminum, steel, ceramic, heat treating and other processes and markets we serve.
- Territory management skills: channel of distribution, interterritory cooperation, planning and communication
