Vision: To enhance the machine learning and data science ecosystem at the organization by developing robust algorithms and models which can be applied- To uncover the potential of the data - To make better business decisions- To create automated workflows- To resolve real life problems in ecommerce logistics and moreRole : The role is to lead a team while making individual contributions to uncover insights about business questions using various sources of data. It requires you to experiment on multiple hypothesis using statistical and machine learning algorithms and bring better decision making to the table. The role would require you to do multiple stakeholder management.Responsibility : - Build, improve and maintain a robust machine learning and data science infrastructure- Develop supervised/unsupervised predictive algorithms- Implement algorithms to create end to end scalable solutions (batched and real-time)- Monitoring, logging, A/B testing and load testing on the implemented solutions- Follow, contribute, and promote best software engineering practices- Knowledge sharing and mentoring the teamsAutonomy :- Create tech roadmap for machine learning ecosystem- Motivate and train team members- Identifying new technologies and build and present rapid prototypesRequirements :- Graduate/ Post graduate degree in Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics- 5+ Years of hands-on experience in development and deployment of machine learning algorithms in large scale production environment- Strong working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases- Strong understanding of OOP concepts- Hands-on experience in object-oriented programming languages such as: Python, R, PHP etc.- Comfortable in Linux/Unix environment- Sound knowledge of cloud-based architecture- Ability to develop quick prototypes and minimal viable products- Strong knowledge of software development processes (ref:hirist.com)
