As part of our Business Consulting team, you will help clients on their finance transformation and optimization projects, evaluate current processes/functions and develop their future roadmap, re-design their finance processes/structure/functions. Working with regional and global team, you will help clients reinvent or re-design their finance functions, models for increased efficiency and cost optimization. The client base spans across industries and includes Government & Public Services, blue chip corporates, banking and capital markets, multinational investors and Private Equity firms.

The opportunity

• We’re looking for Manager with expertise in Finance Transformation and optimization projects to join the group of our Business Consulting Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a finance domain service offerings.

Your key responsibilities

Part of a team of 5-10 professionals undertaking finance transformation and optimization projects

• Ability to take up work streams and effectively manage projects, influence stakeholder/ participants/contributors, manage expectation and deliver quality is essential
• Defining finance vision and finance strategy transformation plan
• Design Finance target operating model design and Business process reengineering
• Develop Finance Structure and roles
• Identify opportunity for digitization and finance process improvements
• Experience working in Enterprise Performance Management projects with capability in Cost optimization, reporting, budgeting, bench marking, financial/business planning, maturity assessment
• Experience in Shared services finance projects – location assessment, cost benefit analysis, governance matrix, feasibility assessment
• Agile Finance and Digital enablement on finance able to work under pressure to meet deadlines; must be able to analyse and prioritize assignments
• Participation in tech solutions in Finance function including ERP/SAP along with exposure to analytics and modelling will be a necessary expectation of this role.

Skills and attributes for success

• Have to extensively travel for client engagements and discussion particularly in Middle east
• Expectation of team management include Build/manage/develop team to support client engagement
• Conduct training, create career paths and facilitate growth of team members will be a critical responsibility

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 9-12 years of consulting work experience in Finance projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication will be critical especially with CXOs level clients
• Consulting experience in Financial services, Experience in transformation projects, Analytical and modelling skills, ERP/SAP/ Blackline/ MS Dynamics/Anaplan exposure
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Dashboarding skills and Project Management experience on large project would be preferred
• Right attitude to understand and align organizational goals and priorities and assist in implementation of strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with other competencies and ensure Organizational goals and priorities are achieved as a team
• Willing to work on Sunday to Thursday working week and support MENA timings (11AM – 8.30 PM), as preferred (supporting Middle East Clients)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• CA/ACCA/Master’s degree in MBA Finance
• Exposure to tools like Anaplan, Power Bi, Tableau, Alteryx etc
• Certifications in finance domain, processes, functions
