Boeing India Engineering is currently looking for a Program Management Specialistto join their team in Bangalore, India. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization. Intro paragraph

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple Engineering leaders and Teams and Lead project execution to complete work statement by identifying activities, resources and events.
Coordinating resources (people, processes, and tools) required over the life of the project or program. Plan for risk mitigation and opportunity; tracks project performance, efficiencies, and productivity and capture lessons learned.

Position Responsibilities:

• The selected candidate will be responsible for developing statement of work (SOW) to satisfy ongoing and new business requirements. Identify and manage changes to SOW and assess the impact of those changes. Leads project execution to complete work statement by identifying activities, resources and events.
• Coordinating resources (people, processes, and tools) required over the life of the project or program. Plan for risk mitigation and opportunity; tracks project performance, efficiencies, and productivity and capture lessons learned.
• Implement corrective actions to improve performance. Provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of the project.
• Coordinating and communicating regularly with experts in Boeing organizations around the world.
• The candidate shall provide periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents. Enable productivity improvement through use of Quality Management System, Lean and/or Agile principles.
• As a Project Manager, the selected candidate will be committed and engaged, drive continuous improvement of Agile processes, always focusing on supporting teams to deliver high-value products with high quality.
• Proficient in Project Management theory, concepts and principles (e.g. theory of constraints, critical path methodology, and project risk management; triple constraints, project scope management, project management lifecycle etc.).
• This positions supports initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, customer engagement etc.
• Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, engineering, or other deliverables. Proven ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
• Expertise to determine the processes to be used to accomplish goals, documentation, resource management and activities. Understanding on how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, and simplify complex processes
• Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
• Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work. Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones
• Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English, and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work.
• Demonstrated proficiency in metrics based management

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience in a dedicated Project Management Role (Engineering or Software)
• Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery

Typical Education & Experience:

• Equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelors + 5 years’ related work experience)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience (Master + 4 years’ related work experience)
