Position Summary

The Lead - Digital Experience CoE will be a member of a Digital Experience CoE team, responsible for the development of digital solutions for Ortho’s internal and external customers on Adobe Platform. The Lead - Digital Experience CoE will engage in all phases of the development lifecycle including: requirements gathering, specification review and approval, working with UI/UX engineers, application architecture, technical solution build, delivery and support.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates the ability to independently gather business requirements, design technical solution and implement solution, either alone or by coordinating with other GIS team members
  • Delivers technical solutions that meet Business Requirements, GIS technical standards and is sustainable in the planned productive environment
  • Develops, recommends, and applies new concepts, techniques, systems, and technologies within assigned area of expertise
  • Consistently demonstrates initiative to acquire and utilize new technical skills within job function
  • Develops Integrations solutions between customer facing and backend systems
  • Sustainment - support digital experience CoE solutions

Qualifications

Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience Required/Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study

Minimum Years of Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required/Preferred

3+ Years of hands-on experience in full cycle AEM implementations using version 6.3+ (development of CRX/JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, and OSGi frameworks, advanced dispatcher and CDN caching strategies, AEM Multi Site Manager and security best practices)

3+ years of hands-on experience using Adobe Digital Asset Manager (DAM) integrating with Adobe Sites and enterprise asset management solutions

3+ years of experience in AEM component development, Asset workflow development, Schedulers, Metadata & Tag Management plus integrating AEM with other applications

3+ years of hands-on front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS

3+ years of hands-on experience using Java/JEE, spring, and related frameworks

Working knowledge of microservices and APIs required

Experience using CI/CD and DevOps Tools required

Full stack development experience, a plus

Experience using Agile Methodologies, a plus
