Job Description Summary Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement/ repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement or order.
Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labour as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Warehouse Management:

  • Lead and act as single point of contact for Material planner for respective projects assigned.
  • Raise Purchase request for requirement of Project based material in PMx.
  • Prepare PR network linking in PMx.
  • Weekly analysis of PR as on time, delayed and corrective actions accordingly.
  • Update Project wise material tracking report with respect to drawing release.
  • Update finish Goods details for packing of material as per the WPP (Weekly Packing Plan).
  • Update Purchase order details into Material Tracking application for material dispatch to site.
  • close coordination with Sourcing, Project planner & Project supply chain manager for PR creation.
  • Raise Purchase request for requirement of transportation services project wise.

Training & Development:

  • Develop, train, facilitate the Material planning team as per EHS guideline.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities involving multiple departments to improve and optimize Material planning process.

Deliverables

  • Purchases requests for Project based & Transport services Project wise.
  • PR Networking & Linking
  • Updation of WPP (Weekly packing Plan)
  • Material Tracking Project wise
  • PR analysis & Corrective action
  • PO upload in MTA for dispatch of project-based material (Material Tracking application tool)

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate in any engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Planning department.
  • Essential experience with SAP.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office knowledge must required.
