Summary:

Lead Analytical Qualifications and Supplier Data Management for Raw Materials :

  • Coordinate day to day work allocation for Analytical projects and ensure on time support to various projects.
  • Support internal/external manufacturing sites for Analytical test method related trouble shootings & investigations linked to raw materials.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvements, implement global regulations and GxP requirements as applicable
  • Make decisions regarding analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, and arriving at timely technical decisions.
  • Collaborate with external partners for outsourcing activities and ensure the productivity and compliance to applicable J&J standards
  • Develop technical expertise in team and ensure implementation & adherence to GxP practices in RMC laboratory
  • Coordinate raw material supplier data management project and drive strategic initiatives from ‘Digital First’ goal
  • Strengthen the partnership with suppliers to get efficient support for technical, safety and regulatory data for raw materials and support ingredient-based claims

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of Raw Material Analytical qualification & Data Management project to ensure timely support to internal stakeholders
  • Participate in various meetings with internal and external stakeholders to shape/streamline the processes
  • Participate in raw material related investigations as appropriate to support internal & external manufacturing sites and investigate the OOS results during Analytical qualifications.
  • Review and approval of change control and manage the quality metrics for the change controls
  • Review and approval of Technical documents like qualification reports, technical justifications, analytical method transfer etc.
  • Training and Performance assessment of the team members, contractors, and third-party resources
  • Provide timely updates to reporting manager and provide insights on creating new opportunities for process improvements

Qualifications


Required Minimum Education
: A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Analytical/Organic Chemistry or BPharm or MPharm


Required Years of Related Experience: 8-15 years in FMCG/Pharma sector (Minimum 3-4 years of experience in people management is required)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

(Include any required computer skills, certifications, licenses, languages, etc.)


  • Advanced understanding and application of principles, concepts, and practices of Analytical Chemistry is required.
  • Adequate knowledge of GMP, quality systems, SOPs, Global & Country specific Regulatory requirements
  • Technical skills related to interpretation of analytical data and accurate documentation of laboratory investigations and non-conformances.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in an GxP environment is mandatory.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external resources to meet project objectives.
  • Proven record of delivering project results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office tools
  • Ability to manage/resolve interpersonally challenging situations
  • Ability to successfully navigate unknown/unforeseen challenges
