Responsys, part of Oracle’s CX Marketing suite of tools, is an industry-leading marketing automation platform that provides Marketers with a powerful, comprehensive set of integrated applications to design, execute, manage and refine Cross-Channel Lifecycle Marketing campaigns across all key digital interactive channels including email, mobile, social and the web.

We are looking for a Senior or a Principal Product manager with deep knowledge in the Mobile Marketing domain who will report to the Senior Director of Product Management. The ideal candidate will have deep, direct experience in the Mobile app space and should understand the market drivers for Mobile App Push notifications, its various messaging formats, and the technology driving them. Your domain experience allows you to clearly explain Mobile Marketing concepts to Marketers while also being comfortable discussing technical details with App Developers.

Responsibilities:
Define Product Goals and Objectives; Develop Product Roadmaps that are well-aligned with Product Goals and Strategy

Prioritize Product features and clearly be able to justify priority

Break down the abstract product requirements into simple well-defined User stories

Work with Engineering and QA teams to clearly articulate business requirements

Participate and Contribute in Product Design and Architecture sessions

Track Progress of Product development, identify dependencies with other product organizations and engage with them early

Analyze Product performance metrics and be able to identify Product issues and opportunities

Demonstrate and present the business value of your product area to other Product Managers and other relevant organizations within the company

Evaluate Partner solutions and make/recommend Build -vs- Buy decisions

Analyze Competitive products in the market and be able to position the product to your market

Build relationships with organizations like Product Support, Product Operations, Solutions Consulting and Sales team members to evangelize your product.

Excellent communications skills - able to clearly articulate complex business requirements to the Engineering team and articulate business value of your product to management.

Requirements:
B.E/B.Tech/M.S/M.Tech from premier institution

MBA from a premier institute is a plus

6 - 9 years of professional experience in the Software Industry

Atleast last 3 years experience in Product Management, preferably in Enterprise Software products

Atleast 2 years of experience in Enterprise Mobility

Good knowledge of Cloud technologies and Architectures

Knowledge of Agile product development methodologies

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
