Sr. QA Manager (10843.QA Snr Manager -ProdDev.PRODEV.TECHQA)

Location: Hyderabad, India

Overview:
Oracle Food and Beverage is developing scalable and modular solutions that encompass front office, back office, CRM, sales and catering, revenue management, reservations, distribution, point-of-sale, and a multitude of other hospitality industry functions.

As our Sr. QA Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team that designs and developments test plans for the F&B POS products. You will implement, measure and report on the quality assurance activities of your projects. Your team will develop and execute software test plans; Analyze and write test standards and procedures; Maintain documentation of test results; Analyze test result and recommend corrective actions. You will guide and influence the transformation of the QA function and the adoption of modern, context-driven practices in all quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities:
Direct manager of team of QA Engineers

Scope and plan test activities to deliver top class products

Implement test strategies to ensure product completeness

Apply the appropriate test methodology for the product under test

Document and publish results of scalability tests and test benchmarks

Monitor the effectiveness of the testing and bring about improvements of the SaaS and SDLC, liaising with the Engineering and DevOps teams

Lead and mentor team members

Partner with PaaS development teams for continuous improvement of our SaaS and SDLC

Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in SW QA

2+ years of experience as a QA Manager

Experience in planning and executing tests for validating the performance of cloud-based SaaS with large throughput

Experience in complete SDLC, Agile Scrum, DevOps and Automation of testing including practices like Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc.

Experience in continuous delivery of micro-services with test automation

Strong test data management skills

Strong communication and personal skills: work well with members of other functional groups in a project team; demonstrate a strong sense of project ownership

Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of quality assurance. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
