The position is part of a larger effort to establish an integrated solution for a Cell Cytometry program at VCR Park, Visakhapatnam, A.P INDIA.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• Planning and conducting experiments.
• Proficient in sterile technique
• Laboratory research, including but not limited to, cell cytometry analyses.
• Recording and analyzing data
• Prepare general lab stocks, reagents, solutions, buffers, and stains.
• Maintain well-organized experimental records.
• Ability to work as part of a team and participate in group meetings.
• Shared responsibility for the ordering and stock-take of lab consumables
• Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a demanding schedule.

Responsibilities: IHC and Flow Cytometry:

• Perform daily maintenance, calibration and operation of IHC and Flow cytometry instrumentation.
• Maintain laboratory in a regulated environment.
• Plan, design and execute project requirements with appropriate experimental procedures and implement new analytical technologies.
• Efficiently coordinate transport of human and animal tissue specimens to the Laboratory. Experience, working with both tissue specimens is mandatory.
• Apply microscopy skills including analysis of cell and tissue staining.
• Conduct histological techniques such as processing, embedding, sectioning using a microtome, H&E and IHC staining using automated strainers to perform histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, multiplexed immunofluorescence, and in situ hybridization.
• Employ technologies of chromogenic and fluorescent IHC and digital pathology slide scanning and analysis.
• Utilize experience in cell and tissue culture that include laboratory techniques like media formulation, aseptic expansion of mammalian cell lines and primary immune cells, cell isolation from human blood and mouse tissues, immune staining for multi-colour flow assays towards different projects and services.
• May have to perform deep immune-phenotyping, quantification, internalization, and receptor occupancy assays.
• Proficient in antibody conjugation to fluorochromes and a strong background in quantitative cell biology.
• Execute standard operating procedures, analytical test and sampling methods
• Use flow cytometry software, data analysis, record maintenance, and report preparation
