POSITION PURPOSE

Work closely with Chief Risk Officer, India, to support all risk management activities including but not limited to:

• Leading RISK projects and bank wide assignments as part of RISK India teams

• RISK dashboards, regulatory reporting, Group and regional reporting, etc.

• Co-ordination of RISK subjects for GIFT City branch

• Providing support to CRO India in team management

Responsibilities

DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES

Regulatory Co-ordination : Manage Regulatory and Audit subjects in co-ordination with RISK India Branches teams. This would include Regulatory reporting; Support the team during Audits and Inspections (RBI / Internal / External) to get all the needed information to provide responses to queries; Be involved in Gap Analysis exercises with RISK teams.

Support CRO in RISK Analysis and Coverage

• Assist CRO in preparation and analysis of country-wide RISK Dashboards and Presentations

• Assist CRO in ensuring RISK Coverage of all areas

Project Management : Facilitate and Manage RISK India Branches transversal projects and take other ad-hoc projects/assignments given by CRO India.

• Define the objectives, scope & timeline of the project/ initiative

• Identify and engage stakeholders of the project/ initiative

• Drive project/ initiative activities efficiently, from on-site analysis to coordination of contributors

As GIFT City RISK co-ordinator, work with different RISK streams within BNPP India and APAC and with GIFT City management to ensure RISK coverage of GIFT City.

Governance Support : Support CRO India and work with RISK India Branches teams on Governance matters such as -

• Updating local policies and procedures

• Organizing relevant RISK committees falling under responsibility of BNPP India RISK

• Co-ordinating with RISK India and APAC teams for RISK inputs in regular committees and forums

Support CRO India in management of team activities and budget management

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

Knowledge:

• Knowledge and understanding of CIB activities

• Fair understanding of Risk management (Credit and/or Market and/or Operational Risk)

Ability / Skills:

• Fluent in spoken and excellent written English

• Good interpersonal, communication and coordination skills

• Experience in project management, able to manage multiple tasks.

• Positive attitude and eager to learn

• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Advanced Excel, Power-point)

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS (IF REQUIRED)

The ideal candidate would have a Risk / Compliance / Finance background with experience in Project Management / Business Management / COO office.
