We have been informed of instances where jobseekers are led to believe of fictitious job opportunities with Deloitte India (“Deloitte”). In one or more such cases, false promises of actual or potential selection, or initiation or completion of the recruitment formalities appear to have been or are being made. Work you’ll do

Plan, design, code, and execute tests, including user interfaces, business logic, and data access according to application need
Test, automate, troubleshoot, and critique software components
Provide efficient reports on defect status, team progress, and own assignments
Recommend solutions for test management, execution, and reporting
Perform quality assurance and end-user acceptance testing to confirm the product satisfies end-user requirements and needs
Communicate with technical and business personnel about business requirements, system-related capabilities, and enhancement status
Experience on working with JMeter and knowledge on other load generation software like Load-Runner etc.
Ability to analyze large amounts of performance data and summarize them into meaningful graphs and reports
Should be able to perform baselining, load, stress, scalability, endurance, spike, and other related performance test strategies and techniques.
Ability to design robust load/performance tests that can effectively lead to bottleneck identification and knowledge on finetuning/load balancing
Experience in utilizing performance, monitoring and tuning software for interpreting performance results and identifying bottlenecks (eg. Splunk, Dynatrace and AppDynamics, etc.)
Should seamlessly communicate with multiple groups – architects, DBA’s, developers,
release engineer etc. – to collaboratively troubleshoot performance issues.
Ability to translate business requirements and NFRs into performance test strategy, test scenarios and load profile
Good with Java or similar programming language.
Experience in writing SQL queries and ability to monitor database performance and query tracing.
Hands-on experience in Web Services, XML technologies (REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML)

The Team

Our Financial Technology practice develops and licenses a growing family of proprietary software products (see http://www.deloitte.com/us/financialtechnology) to assist financial institutions with a number of complex topics such as accounting for credit deteriorated assets and the administration of investments in leveraged loans.

We are looking to add additional Quality Control Engineers to our existing team. In addition to competitive compensation and benefits we provide excellent opportunities for growth and learning and invest in our talent development.

Qualifications

Required:
Candidate should have 3yrs to 6yrs experience in manual and automation testing.
Ability to write SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Experience in Selenium Automation testing.
Experience with SOAP/Rest API Automation.
Experience with SQL Server.
Experience with scripting dynamic languages.
Experience in Java-script is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps is a plus.
Exposure to Test as well as Production environment.
Effective written and communication skills.

Preferred:
Experience with N-tiered web application architecture and knowledge on Application and Web servers (for e.g. IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, etc.)
Worked in volume testing
Knowledge on Microsoft AzureDevops.
CI/CD experience using AzureDevops/Jenkins.
Knowledge on GIT, Docker.
Worked in an Agile project
